RIFT UK is a volunteer-run grassroots League of Legends tournament circuit based in the United Kingdom, operated by Joseph "Taurishe". You can contact us at [email protected]

2. What Data We Collect

When you create an account we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture. We also store your League of Legends Riot ID for the purpose of displaying it on team rosters and generating OP.GG multisearch links.

3. Why We Collect It

We collect this information in order to run both the tournament/leagues as well as the site. In order to understand who is playing, we require IGNs and display names; similarly, in order to know who people are we require emails and sign up/registration

4. How Long We Keep It

We reserve this data for as long as your account is active, or until you request manual deletion.

5. Who We Share It With

We share your data with the following people:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication and database hosting
• Cloudinary — Image storage
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

We do not have access to your passwords. They are kept encrypted in a third party database.

6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing

7. Cookies and Local Storage

This site uses browser storage for functional purposes only (maintaining your login session). No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy is either changed or updated, an announcement will be made in the official Discord server.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on RIFT UK you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account; you may also only create one account. By registering you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

You:

• Are responsible for keeping your credentials secure
• Must make sure your display name and IGN are accurate
• May not impersonate another player or team

5. Content

Profile pictures must not contain offensive, explicit or otherwise discriminatory material. We also reserve the right to remove any content.

6. Account Suspension/Bans

We reserve the right to suspend or ban any account that violates these Terms of Service or the league ruleset. In serious cases suspension may be immediate and without prior warning.

7. Limitation of Liability

RIFT UK is a volunteer-run grassroots league. We are not liable for any website downtime, data loss, disputes between teams and players.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
